FINAL PRINT.

PROJECT.

For this assignment, we were tasked with creating a mockup for a hypothetical poetry reading event. The project involved designing visual elements that would represent the theme, tone, and atmosphere of the event, including promotional materials such as posters, invitations, or digital assets. The goal was to conceptualize a cohesive visual identity that effectively communicates the essence of the poetry reading while considering typography, imagery, and layout to engage the intended audience. We were also given a specific template that we had to follow in order to create cohesion between the whole class.

MY WORK.

For this assignment, I created a mockup for a hypothetical poetry reading event using my own image, which was taken from a video I created for my poetry analysis. To enhance the visual impact, I experimented with duotone and halftone effects, giving the design a bold and expressive aesthetic. These techniques were chosen to reflect the mood and themes of the poetry while adding a dynamic, print-inspired texture to the composition. The final design integrates personal imagery and graphic treatments to create a cohesive and engaging visual identity for the event.
